I hope the RPD can sell off those items (the legal ones) after the trial is done. I'm sure they could use the budget boost, and everyone else could use the ammo.

I may be wrong, but I always thought that seized weapons had to be destroyed within a certain amount of time. I know thats how it is in Illinois.

Care to explain that? All the police officers in Rolla I've had encounters with (State, City, and University) have been very nice.

That's cause it's liberal fucking Illinois.

This is probably the dumbest idiot in the world. 100 weapons and 300,000 rounds of ammo isn't exactly cheap, so he has to be pretty wealthy but he had to focus all his efforts on chasing this one woman to Rolla. Should've bought a sports car and went cruising for chicks instead.

He posted bond. I'd assume he would be a greater flight risk than that. $100,000 bond seems a bit low-balling for charges including terrorism, threats resulting in the closing of a building, threatening police officers, etc. If I was him, and had a record like that waiting for me, I'd leave the country, especially if my armory had been compromised.

People like him probably have friends to go to.

I'm sure that's the last we'll see of him.

BUT

100k bond + 100gun/300k rounds = Good Haul for Rolla PD
