Can anyone else access any channels on IRC? I sign into a server and it tells me my local address. Then when i try to join a channel it says i am banned. I dunno why i was on a bout a month ago for like 5 minutes and then left but nothing since. So i tried just joining any channel i could find and i am banned from all of them. So i jumped on my laptop thinking a different local host might help. Same problem. Anyone have any idea's? Or if the rolla ID banned now?

I texted berto...he says it is down. Seems to have died during the apocalypse or something.

seek irc is down so the box can be reformatted
as per irc on campus i have gotten connection refused responses from efnet and seeknet, so im not sure whats going on. It isnt all the time when it happened to me.

IRC server is currently down so the box can be prepped for upcoming stuff on Saturday. Should be back in an hour or so.
Also, I've always gotten connection refused when trying to connect from on-campus machines.
I just tried - its the first time ive not been able to connect from my dorm in TJ. -from Chat42 or Irssi. (albiet, all previous attempts have been thwarted by "bad password")
I can connect to irc.slashnet.org and irc.tamu.edu though. I guess the box is still down?
Yeah sorry, we ran into some other issues with IRCD. Hoping to have a fix by tonight. On the plus side, we have a new SATA HDD and Qt is on the box (which has been reformatted obviously)! That probably means nothing to all of you, but it's pretty good news.

Edit: is IT blocking IRC or something. I can't connect on most clc machines either
berto turned into an asshole at about 10:00 this morning. Killed everyone, laughed about it, let them all reconnect, then killed them again. After the second time, though, IRC must have gone down for a while though.

The fuck? I like how ShadowCat, not being around whatsoever assumes it was me. Even when there was clearly a conversation where I told Chank to quit being a fucking baby because I killed him. But HEY, what do I know.
