ie is very reliable and dependable. in fact ie is just a component of windows explorer. i really like how it's all integrated into one application

firebird has its benefits. my favorite part is how you can click on a link with the middle mouse button and it will open it in a new tab (or new window). if ie had a single click option for open in new window that would be pretty sweet.

mozilla is cool but it just doesn't wow me to make me want to change.

anyway back on topic, what is your default homepage? i always find that seek42 (a popular homepage for UMR students) takes a couple extra seconds to load up, compared to google (my homepage).

wouldn't have anything to do with your connection, would it? some lan-type connections can take a second to figure out about protocols.

doesn't matter what OS i run, i use either mozilla firefox or Opera 7.5. neither of them are as b0rked as IE.

IE sucks. Microsoft, quit developing this piece of shit.

No, see, that would require actual work on Microsoft's part.

Check out SlimBrowser. It goes on top of IE and gives it tab support, a popup blocker integrated, and other stuff. Best of both worlds I think.

Not really. The core still will have pitiful CSS rendering, crappy support for transparent PNGs, and the same baseline implementation vulnerabilities.
