anyone else having problems loading internet explorer. take almost a minute to load the first page, then after one is loaded it goes to normal speed again? (running 2k, ie v6)
I didnt have this prob on my notebook running xp, until i just reformated and now it is doing it also. thanks in advance for any help
ie is very reliable and dependable. in fact ie is just a component of windows explorer. i really like how it's all integrated into one application
firebird has its benefits. my favorite part is how you can click on a link with the middle mouse button and it will open it in a new tab (or new window). if ie had a single click option for open in new window that would be pretty sweet.
mozilla is cool but it just doesn't wow me to make me want to change.
anyway back on topic, what is your default homepage? i always find that seek42 (a popular homepage for UMR students) takes a couple extra seconds to load up, compared to google (my homepage).

Check out SlimBrowser. It goes on top of IE and gives it tab support, a popup blocker integrated, and other stuff. Best of both worlds I think.
