 Post subject: hdd/audio problem

Everytime my computer accesses something on any of my harddrives (and the little blue hdd led blinks) i get a popping noise on my audio out. It gets pretty crazy when loading a winamp playlist. I'm pretty sure I physically screwed up my OS drive a while back, but thought I might see if anything else could be to blame.

try changing your audio drivers.

If it isn't already you might try enabling DMA on your IDE channels.
