im looking for an unused agp slot, i need to attach a new 8x apg slot to a mobo on which the old 8x agp slot was torn off.... so any one got any ideas, a webpage that sells such parts, maby even one thats easy to attach since the sodder gun i have isnt really all that

basically what happened is the comptuer in the car accient with me got a few breaks, most of which i fixed the the agp slot had to go its was to far gone, so off with it, and now i want another one so i can use my 9600xt instead of the onboard intel extreme.... and if nothing else ill have a sff for sale later during this sememster, for someones next mod project, the board still works great too... its kinda disturbing

Why don't you just take the slot off of a dead board?

you can try gateway electronics in St. Louis, call them tell them to find what you want.
I think you need to find what the number for your broken one is and look it up. Try http://www.molex.com but they have every thing you could want but the search thing is hard to use.

well i considered taking a slot off a dead board, but thats a lot of friggin work, and theres a good poss id mess it up removing it so i figured just start tiwht a new one... but ive decided against it

it seems teh board may be broken aferall... hte board seems to work fine but it locks up, so i think im gonna give up on it, but im gonna post it in fswb to see if any body wnats it for like $5 or something
