I'd reccomend Rainlendar. It's a little program that overlays on top of your desktop without interfering with your icons or programs. It can run as a window too, but it's not nearly as cool then.

Remember you have a calendar in your exchange account on campus. Outlook is kind of a dog off campus, but I always used the web client.. especially when i would sync it up with my PocketPC (that I recently sold)

So, technically, if you want to use a calendar without any further installations, just use http://minermail.umr.edu

Hopefully CIS will upgrade to the new version of OWA, it is very nice. They'll screw it up a few times, but they'll eventually get it right.
