Post subject: Anyone here have flash chip programmer for bios chips?

Source: Somewhere
I'm hoping someone here knows how to program bios chips. I corrupted mine somehow after trying to load up a newer bios file. Computer only boots to the "boot block" part which asks for a floppy disk (and my motherboard is a refurb that has something wrong with the floppy drive connection).

It's an epox 8k5a3+ athlon board, chip is mounted in a socket (not a dip style, its the one with pins on all 4 sides...forget what it's called).

Hoping that one among the sea of nerds at UMR would help me out here :P

Thanks

(sorry for hijacking)

brooklyn: would you be able to re-flash an old Asus a7v bios chip? Either I get this one fixed, or I go out and buy a whole new/old board that supports sdram D:

Not sure that is has to be this exact chip but has to fit into the slot this fits in.
