 Post subject: dynamic vs basic hard drive

whats the difference between the baisc and the dynamic setting on a hard drive under windows? I had to import my forieng ntfs dynamic drive into windows beofer it would show up.

not sure exactly, but I know drives are suppose to be dynamic for mirroring.

I think dynamic drives don't have a normal DOS-compatable partition table. I think you can boot off of them with some work.
