I just installed a controller card in my computer. It says everything was installed right and it shows my hard drives in the device manager, but how do I get them to show up everywhere else? Thanks in advance.

the card is a promise technology ultra 133 tx2, and the hard drives are both Western Digital, one is an 80 gig, the other a 120

I assume you have them formated and initialized (sometimes windows does this for you and sometimes it doesn't)?

one has just been moved to the controller, the other one is new, so I haven't been able to format it yet.

If you are in XP you must run the WD datalifegaurd tools to see /"bless" the drive.
so DL them or use the disk and it will walk you through

That got my new one up, is there any way to get the other one up without formatting it?
