Looks like universal computing might materialize rather soon. I don't know if this is going to become abandonware or not, but this is pretty amazing.

what is gimp... i've heard of it before but it's been a while

so you mean, like, with this universal software, i can play my SNES games on my PC with no performance hit?! allllllllright!!!

lol, I can do that with out any extra technology.
I think they are making this up to get bought by MS. Almost any linux program runs just fine on PowerBook. Better yet you can compile most open source program and make windows binaries.

All the programs they list as "examples" has native versions for the os they are running on. This software is vaporware, or at best, very specific for certain applications.
