If you want to play, I hang out on Ventrilo at the same IP (128.252.110.56). The Vent port is default and there is no password.

i'm gettin' the dedicated server files from unrealtournament.com so i'll have a server set up soon also. I'll see about setting it up for just the LAN so that those of us who just downloaded it will be able to play.
EDIT: got the server files up for download for anyone else that wants them. You'll need to get a (free) server cd key (http://unreal.epicgames.com/ut2004server/cdkey.php). I still need to set it up to run as a service and configure options, but that wont take long

Alright, i have the dedicated server stuff w/ it set up for LAN play (no key checking). But now i wanna know what game types and maps people would like to play. i'm open to suggestions and requests.

DoUplink, UpLinkToGameSpy, and SendStats are "true" by default, so i set them to false, and the MasterServerList had some "address=blahblahblah" in the parenthesis, so i deleted those also.
NOTE: that was in the UT2004.ini file. default.ini has the same options also so i'd change them in there also. Basically i told it not to uplink to the master server... theres also a "-lanplay" option you can specify when running dedicated to run on LAN, and i htink that will keep it from checking keys as well as optomizing a little better for LAN play...
so once again, i'm not 100% positive it gets around key checking, but i set it to not uplink w/ the master server.
