Well brafuckino, good answer... Seriously though, my question is mainly about people with a bs in eman. If you do not know of any specific engineering field, then how the hell can you manage people in that field? How is it possible for one to give timeframes and shit for projects when he/she has no idea how long, or labor intensive a task is? And with the man sys, what programming classes do they take? And is their courseload heavily weighed towards h/ss classes, b/c it seems the people i talk to in man sys take assloads of them.

A lot of Eman majors go into Industrial Engineering, which is bascially managing manufacturing as far as I can tell. Personally I'm an eman/civil. I take enough Civil courses that I learn the field that I will be managing.

This is a sticky so that Ryan can give us cool polls to take not to argue abot the validity of majors.

Poll:

What would you do if you lived in a big city?

Go to the clubs every night
Go to a movie theatre with more than 4 screens
Still play video games 8 hrs or more a day

Define "Big city"

The town I'm from qualifies as a big city if you just base if off of movie theater screen number.

I still just hung out with my friends most of the time because there still wasn't much to do.

I kinda liked bienick. If nothing else he at least made the class interesting.

He was an alright guy. I hated him in the beginning, but really got to liking him in the end. I did hate the way the class was set up though.

I think Insall has a bad rap he just teahes theory which i dont like but it is one approach to the material. He isnt a mean ass like Fannin. As for big city i was thinking at least the size of Columbia.

Everything I have heard about Insall points to assholeness.

People drop like flies in there because they realize it will be a shit course. I've known a few people who had him and they said it was the worst class ever. He doesn't seem to have any "method" for teaching at all.
