well when i first put it up for sale (when i first exchanged it for my new card) , $40 was how much you could get a new GF2 GTS for on pricewatch, not including shipping.

Direct x 8.1 for real......you know you can use direct x 8.1 on almost any old piece of shit don't you. Hell an 8 meg pci card can use 8.1. If you wanna trash talk someone's shit....at least know what the fuck you are talking about.

BTW....the newest version of direct x is 9, and i agree that the price is a bit high but it's really not too bad of a card.
