My Final Four has a #1, 2 #2's and a #3 seed. I have 3 first round upsets, Northern Iowa (gotta go with the hometown team) over Georgia Tech, Air Force over North Carolina, and Louisville over Xavier.

AF over NC???? wtf are you smoking??? NC's going atleast Elite 8 in my books. AF? gone first round.

I know, I know, its crazy to think that. But I see some definate upsets this year in the first round. I made this pick on a gut feeling. NC has made a habit of playing to thier opponents level in all of their games against ranked opponents this year, with the exception of the one Georgia Tech game. I think this will be a close game, with AF as the victor at the final buzzer.

Air force doesnt have a chance. UNC will make a good run i agree. I like the UNI upset and Southern Illinios could be a good underdog, but my upset special will be (11 seed) Western Michigan over (6) Vandy.

AF runs Princeton offence, and Roy and UNC will have problems with that. But UNC has lots more talent, and if they stay out of foul trouble UNC won't have an issue with their lack of depth, 2.5 minute tv time outs will keep them rested enough.

Also is SUB not doing the bracket contest thing this year? They did it last year and I got 2nd... I wanted to win the big prize this year.

I'm a little upset Michigan didn't make it, I believe they could have done some damage, but oh well, there's always next year.

They are the only team from Colorado, so they will be my big upset in my brackets. They actually had a few votes for #24 in the middle of the season when they only had one loss. They lost a squeaker (or so I heard) to CSU in the Rocky Mountain West Playoffs, but they put up a good fight nonetheless.

Going into their conference tourney they were ranked #25 at least in 1 poll, I distinctly remember seeing that. (one of my buddies from HS went there so thats why it caught my eye, that and I was suprised to see them ranked)

here's something to ponder about the tourney. how many possible outcomes are there? ive been trying to figure it out, but then if just one team loses then it causes a ripple effect for the whole outcome of the tourney. there's got to be billions of different possibilities.

Michigan State over Gonzaga in the second round, mark my words.
