I recommend Fear Factory, Lostprophets, Dying Fetus (if you like really hard music).

Haha, Dying Fetus. I'm not sure if that qualifies under "metal with more singing than yelling". Some good shit though. I got plenty of hardcore and "metalcore" if anyone wants to look. Just ask.

Yup. If you like Dying Fetus, I also recommend Paganizer. Both should be shared in my media directory. If not, you can find them on Joe's computer next door to me... \\MJTS.

sounds like you need some:
Saves the Day (In Reverie and Stay What You Are albums)
Moneen
Taking Back Sunday
Rufio
The Juliana Theory
Boston
ooh, dont forget about ---> The Get Up Kids
Modest Mouse, Damien Rice, and Andy Stochansky all are good if you want something a bit more interesting.

Hey, Rufio. Glad I'm not the only one who listens to them. Good shit. So is Juliana Theory and Get Up Kids.

Try out nonpoint. I know at least one computer should have it, my old roommate on \\ptnol . I don't know if he has the new album or not, I have it but am off campus. The new album is "development" and the old one is "statement". I think the old album is harder, I prefer it. Songs in particular that I enjoy:

Victim, Endure, back up, what a day. Those are from the old album. Development and Mountains from the new album aren't bad. Wow, just realized how much better the first is than the second. I hear they are working on a third that gets back to their roots (which hopefully means it sounds more like the first album, unless they have some underground stuff I don't know about).

I'll definately be checking this thread when on campus friday....will probably get another half gig to gig of music then
