One of the best games I've ever seen. Here's several videos that were released showing the game being played.

HOLY....!!!!

This game is HUGE!!!

Ugh, this is a PC game. They better not dumb it down to console level like so many games they release for PC and console at the same time.

From the forums on xbox.com, they're saying that the 360 version will have better graphics then the PC version (except for the apsolute top PC's). Lots of talk about this type of stuff, but most game developers are calling the 360 a gaming power box, that'll take PC's a while to catch up.

But yeah, if it's like Morrowwind I hope the interface is better. I didn't care for the object interface with the xbox version, it seemed to take 4x as long to pick stuff up.

Damn it's good to finally see the video that I've read so much about.

As for the whole Xbox360 vs PC bit, I don't think it'll matter a whole lot since this game is bringing much more to the table than graphics. While eye-candy is nice, the humongous game world, Radiant AI and much more player-friendly game mechanics (just to name a few) will make Oblivion great. That aside, it will still look great on both platforms, and I hear that the developers have said the PC version will even be playable on a 9800 pro, seeing how that's exactly what some of them are using.

Now pardon me while I go back to cleaning up my own drool.

People say a lot of things about games/consoles before they come out, and most it isn't true.

This game looks pretty. Pretty damn boring.

Yeah, nintendo's policy is not disclosing anything right now until they get concrete benchmarks and full game demos to show off. probaly for a good reason.

I played the last installment of the series and devoted about a summer of my life to it, sad but true....

needless to say, I've been drooling over this one since I first saw the screens

On a slightly unrelated note, does anyone know of a way to convert an xbox save file for Morrowind to a save for the pc version?

Well, you can go from the PC to the XBOX, (here for example)

But I to have yet to see anyone get it to work the other way around. Unless you could do his method in reverse?

Morrowind definetly owned every waking no working hour for two entire summers. I shudder when I think of how much time I spent on that game. Sadly I really don't have the funds for a 360.
