Developers themselves said that the 360 version would look the best. By the way, I have a 360 reserved with this game, so I'll take Thanksgiving break to retreat into my room and play it, then anyone can come over and play a little CoD2 or Madden (depends on what I have money for at launch).

Developers are stupid. Morrowind is a PC game, and PC's have always looked better than consoles. Besides, the Elder Scrolls games have never focuses on cool graphics, which is probably one of the reasons they are so cool. If a game is hyped up on graphics alone, (ie: AOE3, Doom3) there is most likely something seriously lacking with the gameplay.

Anyway... Just on terms of graphics and optimization, the developers said that the 360 version would be equivalent to a several thousand dollar PC running the game. Just pointing it out.

I think it's funny how every couple of years when a new console comes out we engage in this stupid debate why consoles have better graphics/ are better than pc's. Seriously, pc's are evolving constantly with increasingly advanced hardware. Why, I looked on newegg the other day and I can get a geforce 7800gt for the same price I paid for my geforce 6800 last year(there's a 40-50% performance increase with the 7800)!

Also, keep in mind that while you guys have been playing your dated console games, PC gamers are being treated to such eye candy as F.E.A.R., Call of Duty 2, Half-Life 2, Quake 4 (all of which have great gameplay as well). The Xbox 360 will have call of duty 2 as one of the launch titles! I've already played and beaten this game twice! No matter how you dice it, consoles are always going to be one step behind and will appeal most to the casual gamer.
