Has anybody played this yet? I've seen mainly mixed reviews so far but it looks cool.

I'm having problems getting the game to finally run. It says I need the correct CD in order to run the game. I have the 4 install discs but I've tried running the game with each disc in my CD-ROM drive and it still says it needs the correct CD in the drive. Any clue what the problem is? I may or may not have bought my "copy".

should be a crack on one of the discs, open them up and look, sometimes its in a folder named 'crack' or maybe the people who ripped the game like 'hoodlum'

or if theres not one, go to http://www.gamecopyworld.com and see if theres a b&w2 no-cd

this game is really cool, but I haven't got used to the mouse controls yet, they seem a little quirky.. especially when the "hand" flys a long ways in front of you...

I wasn't using up to date software, that was my problem. It's working now.

By up to date software, do you mean game patch? I'm having the same issue

It was an ok game, some improvements over the previous one: allowing you to train your creature's habits better, armies to allow you to conquer cities easier, more miracles, etc... It was a decent game, but really not comparablely great with the good newer games out. I played up to the last level somehow without being too terribly bored, but theres better games. The fun part was getting an insane amount of poplulation in the second to last world, making a volcano wonder, and wiping out 3/4 of the world's population in 30 seconds.

The wonders have great graphics and building cities are alot easier, so give it a try if you get a chance, but I don't see much of a replayablility value here.

The game seemed boring and easy to me. I played the first 2 levels the good way, then I read online that the fun way to play was the evil way. So I played it that way too, and it was just as easy.
