There's a map a friend got me online to play, called eota. Eve of the apocalypse. It's pretty niffty, There are three different in game initialized maps, you vote on them, each offers a slightly different variation of aos game play. there are two teams, and about 15 heroes per team or something, some very interesting heros, as a lot of your moves are based on one peculair stat for damage, ai a hero named infiltraitor has a move that will only deal damage if you hit someones backside, it does a multiple of damaged based on your agility. some heroes have multiple stat type moves, ie she also has a landmine ability based on int. and some heroes have movesets completely based on stats that aren't their main. A lof of strength heroes have all their good damage dealing abilitys that are magical based on int, makes sense. There's a lot of other great features, when someone drops in your game, the computer takes over controlling them, and the computer isn't half bad. the item creation system is nice, essentially you buy an item, and you are limited to one of its type for most things, one armor, one helmet, one orb, one glove etc. though you can have multiples of some item types, like rings. you have an altar and you can play one item at a time on it, you are giving an option of upgrading it for a cost, a max of four upgrades, 5 qualities total, each one costing more. Some heroes can manufacture their own items, there's a spider that makes webs, which is an asset for the team that has them, another hero has an ability that splatters its targets gold on the ground, in which case anyone can pick it up *funny how many teamates of the victim will steal their gold* and then is granted a consumable item, some kind of potion normally, with lots of other interesting movesets like that.

Anyway if any of you have ever liked dota, i would give eota a try, its rather deep compared to dota though, and takes a few games with people who know what they are doing to grasp, lots of understand when it comes to creep spawning and things like that for you team, as it is a true aos and creeps are sometimes more important that how powerful your hero is.
