Sounds good. I want to try out PDZ anyway before I commit to buying it.

definitely worth the buy, everyone i know who's played it on they're 360's says it's definitely the best game on launch, even though it's not the best graphic wise. All 4 of them said the single-player is amazing, that it doesn't have the feel of halo, but more like the n64 version (in a good way of course). But they rave the most about the multi-player but they havn't been able to play with more then 2 box's since Xbox Live isn't up yet for online multiplayer.

I know it may seem like a petty reason not to get a game, but, goddamnit, I want to jump when I'm playing a FPS. Again, I'll just have to give it a shot. Oh, I posted this on your other thread, but I don't know if you're checking it. Ordered this the other day:

I've seen em, a friend of mine actually does them. They're not bad, but I'm holding out for the mass production of custom face plates from XCM and others.

You know in PDZ you do have flips/rolls. In many ways they're better then a jump when in a firefight.

Also having planes/cars/choppers is a cool idea, especially the sniping from a attack helochopter (sp?)

Not so much for firefights (jumping, I mean, never a big fan of UT2004), but for just jumping off of ledges and whatnot.

So anyone have any idea how early we need to get to Walmart tonight to be guaranteed one? I don't want to show up an hour early only to find out I'm the only one there, and I also don't want to get there and see a line of 500 people.

Hah I went there at about 2:30 to get something else, and there were already guys with lawn chairs camping out in the electronics section.

Pre-order, man. Second to preorder at local GameStop. Guaranteed a "premium," if you will, tonight. Playing Madden and PGR3 until I fall asleep tonight.

Isn't it a little late to do that when it comes out in 5 hours?

I am guessing that this thread will ride into the sunset now that the X360 is out, but has anyone experienced problems like described here?

No, not yet. The main problem seems to be overheating, and it's coming from the people who position it vertically on carpet, sucking all the crap from the carpet into the holes on the bottome of the system. The only problem I'm having is Madden gives me a disc read error whenever someone breaks their ribs and gets an injury... Go figure. The system is EXTREMELY LOUD and tends to get rather hot, but it's great other than that.

Madden froze when I went into the control setup at halftime.
