The thing that worked for me was sticking on 2-way limited slip. I just put it on to try and see how it worked. If that hadn't have worked, I would have likely gone for full-customize limited slip and fine-tuned my settings there.

I've found these corners to be the ones where I could make up the most time... the first turn (the hairpin) and the final turn I found I could make up miniscule amounts of time, but never consistently. I've actually found that the first of the three corners I've marked is the hardest to get perfect on the entire course, as a slight error will send you off the track (at optimal speed, that is).

The trick to the hairpin is braking late and *not* hitting the first rumble-strip. If you hit the first part of the turn wide, then cut in you will have a much much higher exit speed, which is more important than hitting that first set of rumble-strips. I don't believe there is much time in the final corner (from my current usage of it), as it is just barely more than a 90 degree corner, which, I believe, are the simplest to hit correctly.

This weeks course is Cita Di Aria. The Car is the Tommy Kaira ZZ-S
Restrictions:
Power: Max (Nitrous is allowed)
Suspension: any
Drivetrain: Any
Aero: Any
Weight: Any

The only real restriction is tires which are "limited" to racing super soft.
Time: 1:21:106
I'm thinking 1 to 2 seconds can be shaved. Gearing and nitrous settings can really affect the times here.

I'll start working on it as soon as the Super Bowl is over :)

That's a really good time. I've been trying for about 30 minutes and I have lots of trouble getting under 1'24 on clean laps. Is 'clean' a rule? I don't hit one wall to get in the high 1'24s. I'm gonna try some more, but I'd really like to see a replay of you doing a clean lap in 1'21... if not, I'll live, lol.

Are you using Nitrous? You have to punch it in all the straits. I'll post a vid when I'm done with the PD cup since I can't do anything while I'm in it.

Here's a vid of me doing 1:21.280 http://web.umr.edu/~sket55/ds000.avi

It can be faster as you can see when I flub the first hairpin.

That is a very fine run. And you probably can't take the hairpin faster (its quicker to hit the outside wall going kinda fast than to slow down enough to take the corner).

Now if only I can get un-addicted to TrackMania Nations long enough to go at it again, lol
