I believe I'm addicted as well. I have the game for NES, but my controller isn't responsive enough, so I constantly play on my original GameBoy.

Current record is 472,663 points...

I have also managed to get 210 lines...anyone else?

Edit: What about type B?
Level 9 - Height 5 - 32,797 points

I think lines are a better measurement of 1337-ness than points when it comes to Tetris.

Dr. Mario would kick the crap out of Tetris in a street fight.

lines are not a measure of 1337-ness because it is harder to start on a higher level, and then you will get a higher score, also your strategy determines if you get 1,2,3,or 4 lines(tetris) at a time, and they are worth different score values

I'm pretty sure that "1337-ness" is determined by both points and lines...and if you don't think so...then attempt to do better than either one that have already been posted...

"1337-ness" in any thing is pretty much determined by being able to do things that most people can't.

So....is 210 lines any good???

How many lines do you normally get...to get over 500,000 points you'd have to have quite a few lines...unless the NES version scores differently.
