I think a half mile long ethernet cable might do it...

Have you ever thought about bringing the systems/TVs in the same room? It's more fun that way.

Ya I have had good luck with XBC. Plus if you create private games and just UMR boxes in lag should not be a problem at all.

I have a question. Hypothetically(sp?) if both xboxes connected wirelessly to UMR_Campus could they see each other?

The access point at Castleman is just a Linksys WRT54G plugged into the local router (its actually directly under the seats at Leach). I'm guessing most of them are like that. So my guess is no it wouldn't work.

EDIT::grammar

You're correct...most of the wireless routers are on different subnets so it would be similar to being in different dorms...and that obviously doesn't work.

Does anyone have a wireless map of campus? Like go wardriving all through campus and create a graphical representation of the different routers, their approximate positions and their ranges. I think that might be a fun project if it is even possible.
