I just installed ut99 goty, and I've got a problem. The game runs super fast and stutters uncontrollably. The game runs 5-10 times normal speed. I've got an AMD X2 4200 and Radeon x1800xt. I searched online for awhile and it seems to be a dual core problem, but I have found no solutions. Messing around with the refresh rate, renderer, and vsync options (per online solutions) seems to change some things. One time I managed to get the game to run at about 1/3 full speed, but never close to normal. Any suggestions? |

Try asking on http://www.worldgamersforums.com . There is a pretty good base of knowledgeable people there. |

Nice site, but still no answers. The closest problem to mine that I saw was someone's game that ran fast in multiplayer online, but working fine vs bots. Mine is fast all the time. |

I don't really know, I still have a single-core CPU. I just thought WGF might be your best bet for a wide pool of answers. You could also try http://www.unrealadmin.org/forums/ if you are still without ideas. |
