$5000 CS 1.6 Tournament and a $2000 Quake 4 Tournament announced so far. Other tournaments are still in the works. Gamers such as ERMAC, LoSt-CaUsE, and fatal1ty (shown in picture in the link below in that order) were at the last major LAN that Warfactory hosted. In that Quake 4 Tournament LoSt-CaUsE (who is the #1 Quake player in the US) beat fatal1ty, followed by ERMAC.

Yeah I competed at their previous WF lan, they held it in the science center. I played for the previous tournament winners ToySoldiers. I'm not sure if I'm going again this year, I think i'm starting to get too old for lans, but that $5000 pot is looking pretty tempting.

it depends, my team is a cal-p pug, most of the teams there range from cal-o to cal-m. One time a cal-i team showed up, they beat us in double overtime :(

Quake 4 competition will be rough too. Ermac is generally the best player that shows, but LoSt-CaUsE and Fatal1ty showed up to one of the lans last year :). Good luck :)

Ermac doesn't look like that any longer :D. He's lost over 100 pounds and has hair now :).

I didn't really like him at first because of some stupid dispute we had on a forum, but after meeting him and playing with him some more on LAN and online, he's really is a nice guy.

His "pro gamer" status is disputable. He's trying to play "pro," but it depends on your definition of "pro." Many people use the word to describe someone who's really good that has played in some tournaments (yes, Ermac has done this), and others only consider you to be pro if you make a living off gaming - ie it's your profession (Ermac is nowhere near this right now).

If you guys need an extra player for a CS 1.6 team I would like to join. If you guys are not already on a team we could make one. BTW I know one of the admins there, Thor.

I would really like to go, but school really fucks with that plan.
