An email was sent out to the ACM list.

We will be hosting this year’s What A Night of Gaming (WANG) next weekend from the evening of April 13th to noon on April 15th. For those of you who haven’t been before, this will be a giant LAN party hosted on the second floor of the CS building. We will be having PC, Xbox 360, and other gaming and the event has always been a blast. Registration will be open the beginning of next week, along with more details of what games will be played and what systems people are planning on bringing.
I wish they would've given more than a week's warning. I already have plans.
To be honest (no offence ACM) but it seems WANG is getting more and more flacid by the year. Their WANG has great potential if only it was advertised properly, and properly planned. I haven't heard anything about this year's WANG, and I can only imagine how un-organized it's going to be. I just hope their WANG will leave someone pleased.
...... I was really just using this post to say WANG... WANG!!1

Hilarious as Heretic's post is, it's also very true. Last year we had like a month to get ready with a web site for information and registration and all that. This time it's like "WANG'S COMING EVERYONE GET OFF YOUR ASS!!!11".
Also, didn't his name used to have a ^ in it? Am I crazy?
Worseley and I have been waiting for an announcement because we have big plans for GoW tournaments. Between he and I we have 3 27" HDTV's and my 106" HDTV (HD projector). We were going to do a console at each T.V... But now there's not really enough time to plan.

Um, u mean 32" HDTV's
I also have my large widescreen monitors to use too. So that's 6+ HD setups over 21" between you and I.
I know at least 4 360's will be there for sure, and I'd expect to find another 3-4 pretty easy this year.
If it's planning that your worried about, I don't think the console side of things will be very lax like the PC gaming was last year without any guidance in what/when games were played.
I may be really busy Saturday night though and not make it but my gear should be fine there seeing as how I trust allot of the people who'll be there.
With the setup I bet we'll also see some GRAW2, Rainbow Six and other newer games. We'll see

Anyone up for re-hosting it on a later date, and ACTUALLY advertising it? I would love to go, but I have a training session (that was flexible until now) for my job this summer on that weekend.
This sucks.
