Curious to see if anyone's having this problem:

So, I have been playing TF2 for a while now and today it decides to stop working. Every server, when I try to connect it loads 2 bars and gives a "failed after 4 retries" error but I can still see/ping servers. I haven't installed any new software and no protection is running currently. Another guy on my floor way the hell down the hall is having the same issue but a few other peeps in between on the floor are not (LAN and wireless). Connected via LAN directly into resnet. Re-installed the game. No haxorz, all's legit.

Main question: a resnet issue maybe? Steam issue?

LAN games are fine (I assume - the wipe of the game wiped my maps and so the game gets all the way loaded but then bitches that my map isn't the same as the server's. I can't connect to any online game to update the map.) Online servers (secure, non-secure, whatever) do not connect.

I was having some troubles getting "friends" to respond friday. I'm guessing it's on Steam's end.

Do you run PeerGuardian? It blocks steam on one of the default lists.
