I typically upgrade my computers... BUT, if it's expanding you want, I'm ~99% sure you can "expand" the HDD. Also, PPC is an IBM chip.. not a mac chip. Get your shit straight if you're gonna flame.

an IBM chip which primarily, almost exclusively was found in apple computers until 2005. i know IBM made them, but it doesn't hold as negative a connotation when phrased as such
