Doesn't work that way, Cheech. Someone could give you the install disks, but you'd have to find your own CD keys (they are 1 time use, so you can't use anyone elses) for all of the expansions. Best bet, spend $30 and buy EQ Platinum. Has the OG and most of the expansions.

ef...a server is usually a machine that provides a service to toher nodes... inthis case you would have a machine provide the everquest game service to other machines... and everquest is an mmorpg that is fairly old... prolly the 3rd one if memory serves me...maybe second... think the only one that beat it to the mmorpg area was castle infinity...

But, since you have to lot in to an accout to get your characters, and have to pay for said account, I don't think someone could run a server like you could a CS server. The thing checks CD keys each time you log in. I know that some of the newer UO games let you make your own server, but that's different. Those are free servers, and not normal ones, so they are fairly limited if you compare the two.

EverQuest is not set up to make a private server. The hundreds of zones, it'd be physically impossible to have a server for it. They have a server (computer server, not game server) for each zone. It's honestly just too big to even attempt something like that

it is possible to emulate the eq official servers... BUT it isn't possible to have near the player base... and most of the time on the official is spent doing AI calculations
