Don't burn them to CD for one. The install seems to never work that way. Get Daemon Tools, and set up 1 drive. Mount CD1, and start the install. It will ask you then for disk two that has data3 or whatever on it. Go back to the Tools, and mount CD2, making sure the path goes to the Gamedata section. Rinse and repeat when it asks you for disk three.

I tried mounting all three at once, but when I'd try to swtich, it wouldn't work, so just did it one at a time.

As for the droideka, it's the "Enter" section of infantry controls. Turning only sucks because you have to roll to turn, and that makes you go out of controll. But without the rolling, they'd be way to slooooow. Have still yet to find out for the jetpacks. Maybe it's like a double jump sorta thing? Space bar is the defult take off/landing key, so maybe once to jump, then once to turn it on. Will try it out and get back

You are right on with the jet packs. It is a double jump sorta thing - space bar space bar.

As for not burning the game to CD, that is just personal preference. I like having everything on CD. Like I said, once I reburned, everything worked fine. This game is outta control. I must have played for like 4 hours yesterday. Though now, I must say I am kind of burnt out on it. It really is a lot of the same thing.

Try the Geo-whatever battle (called Spire I think) as a CIS. It's impossible against those damned AT-ETs

i eventually got the thing to work... worst game ever. this game's horrible! the first person aspect sucks, and the vehicle aspect (the whole reason i thought it would be cool) sucks worse. it's like a mini kid version of battlefield. the vehicles are way to hard to control and they don't do any damage... and what's the point of the star fighters? if you are lucky enough to not crash into a building or rock face then you are faced with the impossible task of trying to pitch down so you can shoot men on foot with your lasers and keep your altitude. the whole reason i got this game was to cruise around in the vehicles, but you there are like TWO per level, they never respawn, and you have to fight your teammates to get one. and what's with the "zoom" that magnifies your vision by like 1.2x. VERY USEFUL!!!!



you know what was a great star wars game? x wing vs. tie fighter. they need to make a first person flight sim out of star wars, that would be pretty sweet

I haven't played battlefront yet, may not ever. However, hope is still around, KoTOR II will be coming out in a little while. They updated the site today and some new force powers were revealed.

I thought it was a pretty good game...just like battlefield 1942, only with jet packs...those clone jet troopers are teh awesome.

the game's pretty good. here's my site's review. take into account that he's a manager of a gamecrazy in st louis and he's very critical of all aspects of gaming. imo, the game's just fun all around and thats what matters. 8.5/10
