Yep. We're going to have a bit of a get-together tonight on the warsow server. Be there, be there, be there!

I'd love to come, but I've got a workshop to attend at 5. How long will you all be gaming? I should be home at 6, so I'll join you all then.

Are laggy rockets a Quake 2 engine/netcode "feature" or just crappy game/physics logic?

Laggy rockets? I haven't experienced that, but maybe I'm not the best judge since I get 20fps a lot of the time...everything is pretty laggy.

It had a little to much Run 'n Gun for my FPS taste. Give me Counterstrike style action anyday. Everyone running around like a chicken with their head cut off killing everyone, including teammates, got a little old after 30 minutes.

It was fun, maybe a different map or something.

I thought the map was pretty small for the number of players we had, especially for team play. Also, I am pretty noob at fps's at this point.

Well yeah, that's pretty much what happens with 8 or 9 people on maps that size. It turns into running around killing everything that moves. I've never been much of a team deathmatch fan personally (more of a 1v1 player), but I'm sure with proper maps and decently schooled players the game would play differently.

Also, the fall damage was annoying. In a game where you spend most your time jumping off of walls and high places, I would like to not have to worry about fall damage. I probably killed myself ten times jumping around.
