I decided to give it a try, and so far its been amazing. Very very complex, very well-balanced and great that everyone plays on the same server (cluster). Seems like it would really only appeal to 'conditioned' MMO players. Anyone else play? If so, what are your in-game names?

EVE is a sweet game. I only played for a month, but the scale of the world and the complexity of the game from the weaponry and such to the crazy economy is just awe inspiring.

I just don't want to waste my life on it :o

I'm Rohgarr... I do like the skill training on this game. In that respect I'm not compelled to grind for skills like in every MMO, and can spend my time doing other productive things.

I just started my own EVE account last night. Toridas Naradak. My favorite part is that I can be alt+tabbed doing other stuff while my ship is taking forever to do whatever I told it to do last.

my character name - oatmealknight
account name ga31 (don't know if you need this or not)

This game is actually pretty fun and I am impressed with the size of 'space'.....that and the tutorial makes it easy to learn........

Hit me up sometime in game.........

Space is ENORMOUS...it's ridiculous. Aren't there like some 200,000 stars you can visit, all of which have planets, many of which have moons, etc? I don't remember the actual figures, but I know it boggles the mind.

I did for about 6 months. I'm not much of a corp/guild person, so all there really was to do was mine and run missions/complexes. The missions were extremely cookie-cutter, either ferry stuff around or kill things. Occasionally ferry stuff while killing things. Or kill things and grab the stuff that falls out. Did I miss any?

In the end my time and money was better spent elsewhere, like graduating :)
Not that I learned anything, since I'm staying for grad school :(

EDIT: More funny:
