While I've enjoyed hybrid genres like rapcore (aka rap-rock / rap-metal), I was hard-pressed to find anything tolerable in the regular rap area of music outside of that which exists for parody/humor's sake. Then I heard Busdriver. The man exhibits more talent than the entirety of most rap-based labels IMHO.

older rap is pretty good honestly, run dmc and such new crap is well craps

i agree i enjoy some rock/rap fusion like rage against the machine (not really fusion but close enough for me)

I'm not a big fan of modern rap, in all honesty. I love music with a lot of soul, though. I'm glad Cee-Lo is getting a resurgance with Gnarls Barkley.
