I'll put more later because I have to work in 3 hours but Dark Knight was quite possibly the best movie I have ever seen. It is intelligent, epic, and disturbing. Definitely go see this one I am going at least one more time.
.... And to save you some time there is nothing after the credits

Gonna go see it in IMAX baby.
Sadly because of that I have to wait until Saturday because I waited to long to try and get tickets.
SPOLIERS AHEAD!!!!! (you should expect that anyway).
So am I the only one who was dissapointed? Heath Ledger delivered a fucking knock out blow in terms of acting, but the rest of the characters dragged the movie to the ground. The movie seemed to be two halfs, the first being a really good action movie with some interesting character development and interaction, but the second half was a lame attempt to capture the "darkness" in the Dark Knight.
Christian Bale did not seem to really display the emotionall tearing that was suggested by the plot. I never really felt like he actually knew what the hell he was suppose to be torn between.
The biggest plot point I felt was the revelation that people (gasp!) actually have good in them. But then it kindof dangled away (ironiclly the same way the joker dangled off the building during that whole scene).
Also, corrupt cop surrounded by incompetent cop plot lines need to just die, seriously. I would take Ironman's greedy missuse of power plot any day.
All that being said, I would give the movie 4/5 stars based solely on the fact that Heath Ledger did such at an amazing job of fleshing out his character's emotion and drive in every single frame he was on the screen. If I wasn't so caught up in how complete Heath Ledger's portal of the Joker was I would have probably give this a 2 at best.
PS. I almost stood up and clapped when they made an 18 wheeler do a backflip. Best.Part.Of.The.Movie.

"Hee Hoo ho.. hahaha.. How bout a magic trick? I'm going to make this pencil disappear"
love that part of the movie. It's the in your face "I'm the joker" calling card. I think people are disappointed in bats because the joker did such an amazing job.. it's like comparing gold to platinum.. both are valuable, rare metals. but platinum is just so much better than gold..
that analogy isn't the greatest.. but i think you can get what i'm going for

wow you're amazing this is exactly what I thought of the movie, but I didn't really know until I read it. except the cop thing I could care less, and I would consider the others to be small problems. still rate it 10 cause of joker although I can see 9 because the non emotional tearing need to watch it again
