Does anyone know if this book is supposed to have a CD with it? It says it includes MatLab, but does that just mean it has examples, or the actual software? I ordered it through Amazon & want to make sure I didn't get hosed. Thanks.

Is that the Gordon Carlson book? The Carlson book just has MATLAB code in it, not really the software. The code is junk too, since it was written for like 2.0 or something.

Ok, thanks. From what I've learned since, it sounds like the whole book is basically useless....

If you need Carlson's code, just grab the folder from the EE CLC's.

It is under the matlab/toolbox folder.
Labeled EE265 or EE267

As for the book, it is not really needed until Linear 2 and you don't learn the importance of the material until communications.

I do believe WU uses the book, not sure about Agawarl(however you spell his name).
