I'm going to see if the IST department will let me take this instead of 308, social psych because this sounds a lot more interesting and Dr. Canu is a really good professor (And I can't stand Dr. Patock who's teaching social). Has anyone had this class before? But how is it though? I know with Canu, it can't be bad, just curious to know though. Thanks
308 with Sharpsteen is a VERY easy class, and pretty interesting. I took it this summer and enjoyed it, got quite a bit out of it (I realized I was normal, lol), and it is probably the easiest class I've had at UMR.
I took 362 online this summer through St. Louis Community College - Forest Park and it sucked. I had to read the entire book, write several reports, and take very long 75-question tests (open book and an unlimited amount of time to work on them). I got an A without too much of a problem, but I liked 308 better. Of course, if you take it here it will probably be much better than an online version from a community college.
362 with Canu is probably the most interesting class I've taken in 7 semesters here. It's definitely not difficult, I breezed through it with an A. There is a lot of small homework assignments, most of which can be done in 15 minutes or so.
