When I was signing up for classes, I noticed that english 160 counts for 3 credit hours but it is only scheduled for two 50 min classes a week. Anybody who's had the class know what makes up the other hour?

They give you an extra hour because of all the time you spend writing papers.

With Ekstam that class isn't bad at all. I hear with the other proffessor (no clue on the name), it is even easier.

The papers were never terribly difficult with Ekstam this semester. Nearly all of them could be written in 2-3 pages (double-spaced) or less. The final project was just a 10 minute powerpoint presentation and ~6 page (also double-spaced) paper over a topic you choose.

Ekstam wasn't bad, but aside from being forced to re-do my resume so that it looks better, I got jack-crap out of that class.
