We've got a paper for Eng 60 which asks about statisitcs of academic dishonesty here at UMR. Anybody know if whatever board tracks that stuff posts any stats for campus / UM system?

Just make it up. That way you can cite your own paper.

one step further would be to steal a previous paper, then make note of it at the end in a conclusion you actually write, by saying "i stole this essay as a perfect example of academic dishonesty on campus".... or don't make a note of it

My friend got in trouble at his community college because he wrote a paper in one class, then wrote a similar paper in another class, used information from his first paper, and didn't cite his first paper. Apparently you can plagiarize yourself.
IIRC, they didn't care at all that he wrote two similar papers for two different classes; they only cared that he didn't cite the first paper in his second one.

When I went to UMR, I took both of the Tech Writing courses. they both had an assignment that was identical...so I just resubmitted it. I got a better grade the 2nd time around!
