This might be a new class next semester, so I may not get much of an answer, but since I'm not 100% sure that's the case, I'm asking anyways....

Has anyone taken CS319, Security Operations & Program Management with Karl Lutzen? If you have, would you please share what the class was like? I'm thinking about taking it next semester. Thanks

I haven't taken the course but I emailed him asking about the requirements, and this is what he said:

So what does CS284 teach? I'm an IST and have IST 231, which is computing internals and operating systems, I'm just wanting to know if that's about the same material so I don't get screwed with stuff I don't know

Karl talked about this class at the SIG SEC meeting thursday. It's a new course, first offering is next semester. It'll cover basic computer forensics and security stuff.

Karl is a great presenter so I'd figure he's a good teacher. He's also funny and very intelligent.
