I think it went pretty well. We didn't just sound like a bunch of kids wanting her fired, we sounded professional and like people concerned about grades.

I'm not sure what exactly is going to happen, but we were told that we would see results.

Nothing is changing with the exam. It will still be on Monday or Tuesday (in the other section).

She did make an announcement to my class today that anything with double or tripple integrals will not be on the test.

The meeting went well. Hopefully Dr. Collier will help us out; he's been known to not always follow through...

I'm not liking Lu Gan's hypocritical assumption that our grades are so low "due to cheating." I assume everyone has read the e-mail she sent out tonight:

Quote:
As I promised in class today, please find the link to the website that contains information of the policies on academic dishonesty.

Yeah right, she's not showing us how to solve any of the problems. So by teaching myself and checking my work, I am cheating? I don't think so.

She needs her head examined.

When she told us in the class that using solutions manual for HW is academic dishonest, well wtf is copying the exams and HWs from a different university and giving us as her work?

BTW,

When is Dr.Collier going to talk to this bitch before she messes up the exam 2?

I missed class most of this week, do we get a crib sheet on the test on Monday?

She's going to provide an equation sheet instead of having us make our own crib sheet. She sent out an e-mail with the equations attached (the subject to that email started with 'Exam2 info....')

Thanks, guess I didn't look at that e-mail closely enough.

I just noticed she posted the Exam 2 grades:

Average score for my section: 48.78/71 = 68.7%

That's still an improvement from the exam 1 average...

I'm a little afraid to show up to class tomorrow. I'm expecting her to be fuming about most of us (all but 3) leaving since the sub was 15 minutes late that Tuesday.

So who else get raped by that test?

I know 4 people in our class dropped out on Thursday.
