Finally got my email back from him... I was about to be pissed....

"You got a 74 on quiz 5 and a 95 on the final. Your final grade is 89.75 – a very high B. Congratulations!"

... wow...

Then I got this email:

"Just kidding. I’ll round it up to an A. :-)"

He showed up at my Electronics final to announce that there won't be the extra five points for one quiz solution that he messed up. An email would have been better. Not everyone that was in his class was also in the electronics class.

Oh my favorite mistake. The night before the final I sent him an email asking him a question about a problem in his REVISED quiz solutions.

Code:
He had (.8)^(2n) = (.16)^n.  I asked him if it should be (.64)^n

he said:

"Oh my mistake. Must be the new math!"

That was how he graded that quiz, so he said some people will probably be getting a couple extra points on that quiz.

Yeah, that's funny.
He also said that classroom wouldn't work for next year. Why? Because the projector screen wasn't big enough. God forbid he should actually write something on the board.

Wait, are you supposed to learn stuff in these classes?

Learn stuff is pure idea for college. As right now ppl just want to get A, and get over with it. For all my classes I try to at least get the basic ideas and core ideas, but for this class, I felt that I throw my money into the drain.

No sir, the point of a BS is to learn how to play the game.

So apparently even after skipping the class plenty of times and BS'ing my way through several quizzes, I still managed to earn an A in the class. *shrug* Maybe he ain't so bad after all.

did anyone really NOT skip class and BS the quizzes. I didn't go to that class but probably 40% of the time at BEST. i just read his notes and looked at the book, same thing i would have been doing if i went to his lectures.

I did not miss any classes and don't have anything more to show for it than you. Hahaha.
I remember he threatened to do something about people skipping his class.

Comical Read:

and

It reminds me of the Microsoft/Apple guys in the 80's.

Grant came into Conitnuous this morning, and said, "It's weird to see the familiar faces, ESPECIALLY AFTER THE EVALUATIONS YOU GAVE ME!"

you know there are sample quizzes that are practically identical every year

his class is a joke, almost everyone gets an A

sounds like you need more friends

I am in his class this semester, and I would be very interested in getting a hold of these sample quizzes you are talking about. Can anyone tell me where to get them?
