What's required for full time status? I'm thinking of dropping down to 12 hours this semester and didn't know what is considered full time status.

I couldn't find any information anywhere on umr.edu..

I'm pretty sure if it's your last semester and you're enrolled in the school of engineering, 9 hours is sufficient for full time status. Otherwise, it is 12 hours.

If you start out with more than 12 registered, then drop some, you will still be ok. Not sure for purposes of insurance, but they won't kick you out of the dorms (since they are reserved for full-time students)

i am not sure of the consequences of dropping below a "full time student", but i do know that the requirement is that you take 12 hours per semester. however this can be an average throughout the course of a year. as long as you take 24 hours between your fall and spring semester you are fine (i.e. 13 in the fall and 11 in the spring)
