Tunnel? What tunnel? Are you talking about TJ tunnel? The one that got boarded up because of graffiti?

Huh? Did it get boarded up? News to me if it did. I assume it was the TJ tunnel but I don't know for sure. Wait, it had to be the TJ tunnel. It's the only one that ran from the dorms to campus for several years. The other tunnel just this year ran from the dorms.

There are 2 tunnels. One is near McNutt and the "Dorm College," the other is by TJ hall, which has had the walls boarded up for years.

Which one are you talking about?

Oh, the walls are boarded up. Guess I didn't notice last time I was down there. Why would they board the walls up? That makes no sense.

I suppose you are meaning "duh, can't you read?". I was actually thinking boarded up the entrance and exit where you can't get in. I haven't been down that tunnel since last year so I didn't know they meant just boarding up the walls and not the entrance/exit.

No, I think the point was, you asked "Why?". And Ben had already posted that they were boarded up (several years ago) due to the graffiti on the walls.

Yeah, I meant the sides. And supposedly 4North went down there one night and pried them all off. It was good times, until the fines. Of course, that's just all speculation. I wish they didn't board them up, I think that's one of the more non-sensical things ResLife has done.

paradigm pretty much hit my intentions on the head. I usually am not a blunt a-hole about such things unless the target individual as made a special attempt ask for such treatment. You just seemed confused.

The gumby painted outside the tunnel several years ago, being impaled by the yellow pole was purely brilliant. Then PhysiFac came around and paint thinnered him out (more or less). Then someone painted Blocko on the wall next to gumby with a can of thinner.... it was brilliant.

This history is a courtesy provided for those who weren't around. I haven't been to the tunnel in several years, so not sure if gumby's remnants are still around. History lesson complete.
