OK, here's the deal. I'm in CpE 213 right now, and for our project we need a few capacitors. We swung by Radioshack last week, but they were sold out of 0.1uF caps so we didn't even look for the others. And, it turns out that the electronics shop by Walmart isn't in business anymore or something. The guy from HKN wont answer my emails, and I hear a rumor from other people in the class that they don't have the caps anyway. Here's what we need:

5x 0.1uF
1uF
10uF

Is there anywhere in town we can buy these? The project is due Tuesday after spring break, so we were hoping to get the hardware up and running this week.

hrm, those should definetly be in the HKN lab. I can check for you tomorrow if you want. I think the caps are like 10 cents a piece, but I'll have to double check.

That would be nice, thanks. Let me know ASAP if you can get them tomorrow, as that's the day my partner is wanting to work on the project.

Since you're going to be looking anyway, do you have any jumpers? We're basically halfassedly duplicating the simon boards, and they have jumpers for run and ISP.

If not you can try

http://www.digikey.com/

or

http://www.mouser.com/

Usually shipping at 3 days maximum. You will probably have to buy in bulk, so you might want to split the cost with another group.

IMO you cost should be approximately $10 plus shipping with either of these sites.

Good Luck,

Or you can buy them from the electronics store located in my bedroom :P

I have all of those capacitors and will sell them to you very reasonably. How about $2.00?

I've got tons of these.

pm or email amlmr2@umr.edu

Thanks,
aaron

You could also put capacitors in series and parallel to get the values you need, though that might be a bit messy.
