Why does c9tech get to have a banner ad on the main page and stickys in a bunch of the forums. Are they paying for them? If not then I want to advertise some stuff too. Ill write the code for the banners and everything, you just insert it. Or even better, I want a pop up ad. One of those that you cant close, extra annoying. Let me know.

It's just the natural course of things. The amount of advertisements on a forum is inversely proportional to the amount of people that actualy visit it.

Don't worry, with seek going down so often that is bound to happen. Ryan must have had a better box (what was it, like a pentium 233 or something?), he only had it go down for like a DAY in a couple years that I can remember.

a stick of ram does not alter seek's code for....'improvements'. that may be your current scapegoat, but time will tell if this server is stable.

Maybe you should charge him to advertise. That way you can make upgrades to the seek42 box and perhaps a beer fund for yourself and joe. Just a thought.
