Hey guys, I'm a transfer student from St. Louis Community College. There are just a few things I haven't figured out yet.
How do I store files on the network?
How can I dail back to St. Louis in my TJ room?
Is there a gym or weight room on campus I can use?
I don't know what the long distance policy is on TJ, but I believe what you would do is press 9 (for an outside line) + 1 + Area Code + Number.
Multipurpose has free stuff you can use. Its on the corner of 10th and Bishop, basically really far from you.

In a couple weeks the weight room in TJ will open. Don't hope for much though.
I think a year or so ago they did away with the Long Distance plan (same time they ripped out the pay phones), easiest option would be to just pick up a phone card from Wal-Mart or something for like 10 bucks.

Nope... Its 3 to get an outside line (9 conflicts with their ext's)
No LD, sorry that has been axed as of 2003ish

Last I checked, all dorms have long distince (outgoing) blocked.

also, how do i open the effing mailbox in tj, not that i've tried yet, but i've heard of complications
like already mentioned, it is opposite (counter clickwise first) go past 0 for your second number. go past your third number a little bit then pull out and twist back past your last number again. You should feel a bit of tension when twisting back if you did it right.
If all else fails ask someone who has lived here before. Most people shouldn't mind. I have helped at least 5-6 freshmen open mailboxes this year already.
Oh, if you need to do anything that might in some small way concern the cashier office, GO THERE FIRST, as they open late, close early, and close for lunch. Any generally only have one window open.

What the hell is wrong with people. For some reason I don't understand why someone won't shower.
For those people who don't shower and read this forum, please post up why you don't shower.
Now if you guys want to get people to shower this is what you do. People on 8 south did this back in 2000. Lock them in their room. Cut the power to their room. Slide a note under the door and see results in a few days.

Just went there and and I was told they closed at 3:15....
