Why are they shooting off fireworks? it looks like it's over by Stonehenge or the Observatory. it's kinda annoying...trying to study in the library.

Oh shut up. Block Party.

We interrupted our dinner to have a look.

Enjoy them!

Don't know why, but it was over at the McNutt Parking Lot. It was pretty cool though.

I personally think watching fireworks is pretty lame. I much more prefer to shoot them off.

I prefer watching fireworks to doing homework.

(heck, I prefer * to doing homework)

Shouldn't you be doing homework?

Went to the Pierpoint concert and then the fireworks. Afterward Pierpoint finished off with a few more songs. It was great and the fireworks were awesome. I thought they were better (but shorter) than the STL fireworks on the 4th (just because you're forced to watch from 10 miles away).
Good music too

I like the fireworks in STL around July, but it is indeed better to be almost next to the fireworks when they explode. Concussion adds excitement?

i was never much of a fan of watching fireworks but shooting them off can be fun, especially if one of your friend's hair catches on fire while he is setting on off

He wasn't involved, it was all students.

We watched them from just inside the roped off area by the compsci bridge. Really loud and more awesome when you are that close. Also, the last several seemed to be fail because the guy shooting them off was like "Awww fuck". Pretty funny.

I was parked on St. Patricks Ln and I didn't see anything wrong.

Were there a lot of people present? Other than the cars parked around me, the students launching the fireworks, and the few people I saw across the lot at McNutt, it didn't seem like there was a lot of people.

So does anybody know why they were shooting off fireworks?
