Speaking of Walgreens, anyone know what else is going in that area at 63 & 72? Looks like it's going to be a shopping center of some sort. A couple years ago, I heard rumors of a Target, but I think that fell through.

A Gamestop, from what I've heard, will be one of them.

if is true, it's likely to follow the formula of what happens to all the good things in Rolla, it opens to pretty good success before changing hands a few times and then finally closing abruptly and without warning. ie. pixelated, all-stars, and now west of italy X_x

Well, one thing Gamestop has going for it is that it's a national chain with a lot of money, so hopefully they can advertise and get the word out. I had never heard of the other places until someone came on Seek to report that they were closed.

I have to wonder how much business they'll actually get... How many students actually purchase their games? How many townies can actually afford games and would go there vs. Walmart?

Gamestop makes all their money on the buying/trading aspect of their business. I am sure they will do just fine.

Definitely the trading. They make a fortune from that
Plus, isn't Wal-Marts selection of M games small? I thought they only carry the popular ones that sell well and don't carry others in a bad attempt at replacing responsible parenting.
