Hey all. Tonight seems like a really good night to look at Comet Lulin. It's brightest this weekend and the forecast says its supposed to be clear tonight. Also, there is no moon out so it should be really good for viewing it. For anyone who wants to join me, I will be at the campus observatory looking at the comet at around 9:30p. If people want to, we can also look at Saturn, Pleiades, and the Orion Nebula. I hope to see you there. P.S. - For anyone who doesn't know, the observatory is next to McNutt and Stonehenge.

If you look at the apparent magnitudes, the rest have a magnitude of 8 or greater. Comet Lulin had a magnitude of ~5.5 last weekend. Viewing a comet that has a magnitude >8 in Rolla would be very unspectacular, if you could even find it in the telescope.
