I'm well overdue for a haircut, and wasn't able to get one last weekend when I went home. Anyone know the best place to get a haircut here in rolla?

Great clips is very hit or miss...
the barbers on pine street for the most part cut your hair all the same way...not exactly my style. and they don't use scissors..they use clippers attached to a hose.
The barber shop under the smoke shop by Pike's has closed up.

the only one I haven't tried yet was one road off of pine...on the left. I think it's in the same building as a pool hall. I don't know the name or the shop's name.

Actually, Illusions (the one that used to be under the smoke shop) has moved somewhere near wal-mart. I'm not exactly sure where, but I saw an ad for them in the Miner last week. I was always pretty happy with what they did for my hair.

I've always gone to Downtown Barber Shop, just north of the intersection of 10th and Pine, right next to the Palace.

Good, cool guys, they'll do you up right. I've never been disappointed there.

$9 for a clip job. It's decent.

Agreed! And they use the old-school straight razors, too. I'll never go anywhere else.

So, somewhat of divergence off of this subject, but still relevant--where can one get dreads in rolla; is it possible?

GROW DREADS! I did, and I no longer worry about haircuts. Chicks dig the dreads...at least that's what I tell myself every day.
